What causes pain in face?

The main thing is to realise that facial pain has a long list of causes, and that care must be taken not to attribute all facial pain to trigeminal neuralgia. About 40% of people with migraine will have facial pain during a migraine, and this is the most common cause of episodes of facial pain.
